DO I HAVE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
We at Rock Vet strongly encourage our clients to schedule vaccine and wellness appointments ahead of time. This helps minimize wait, crowded corridors, as well as allows us to maximize our time for unexpected emergencies and sick drop-offs.
DO YOU DO FARM CALLS?
At the current state of our one-veterinary-business, we are unable to accommodate house calls. However, we encourage large animal clients to bring their critters to our facility for evaluations and treatments.
WHAT IF I HAVE AN EMERGENCY?
Please call us with emergencies at any point in time. During business hours we will speak with you directly whereas after-hours calls will be handled by a third-party entity called Animal Health Link (please see our 'Services' page for further details). That does not mean you are unable to connect with the veterinarian. Simply put, a certified veterinary technician will work with you remotely on your problem. If the issue persists or is deemed medically emergent, the veterinarian will be notified immediately.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Rock Vet requires payment up-front for services provided. We typically provide clients with an explanation of the financial commitment, in the form of an estimate, prior to treatment. Rock Vet will partner with CareCredit.
DO YOU BOARD PETS?
Depends - Rock Vet is currently a small-scale operation with future plans of expanding into a larger facility. Until then, we are unable to board medium and large dogs. We do, however, offer a limited number of spots for small (<15 lbs) dogs and cats.
WHAT IS COVETRUS ONLINE PHARMACY?
Rock Vet is proud to partner with Covetrus - a global animal health company. Covetrus is our main supplier and due to limited space and inventory, Rock Vet strongly encourages clients to utilize this online portal for medication and pet food refills. The shelves in-house will be used to stock a minimal amount of small-animal medication and instead focus on large animal supplies and medications. We apologize for any inconvenience and greatly appreciate your understanding.
